Shikakai Experiment - 4

Many more days on shikakai. Nearly a shampoo relapse, but didn't give in.

Why use anything else, I say? Hairfeels shiny, as soft and as 'conditioned' as with shampoo, but with a natural feel to it. You know what I mean? No? Like salon hair is so easily discernable- flat and fakely shiney and nicely sedated. I can see that coat of chemicals.

Move over to shikakai - get rid of shampoo.

Hi..I meandered here whilelooking for names of good brands of shikakai. Looks like you've had a good experience. Whatbrand did you use?
Thanks, Sgtpepper

@Sgtpepper: I had an awesome experience until I had an allergy! But I used Meera - it is shikakai plus some other things and smells great and comes neatly packaged. There are plenty of local brands, and most of them should be good. It is the shikakai that works, I tell you!

Thanks I. Mom (who is a Shikakai aficionado)considers Meera a little high on chemicals. She lives in a place where one does not find Shikakai easily though and has to manage with Meera. I thought one may find some home grown brands in the South. For the moment, I guess I will go with Meera. thanks again. Sgtpepper
